Taking that a step further, Killington and Vermont-based WhistlePig Rye Whiskey teamed up on a private-label project where the resort’s F&B team had the opportunity to sample seven barrels before settling on THE ONE.

The result is “Bewildering Boar,” a 120.8 proof rye whiskey that “drinks like an everyday sipper,” according to WhistlePig’s Master Blender, Pete Lynch. The Buttery crew helped sample the product in addition to producing a video and magazine feature story, and agrees. Photos: Justin Cash
